Crestmont Cadillac Converts to R-M Waterborne Automotive Refinish System

08/20/2010 – Beachwood, Ohio – Crestmont Cadillac announced today that it is one of the first Automobile Body Repair shops in Cleveland to offer eco-friendly collision repair.

Crestmont has made an environmentally-sound decision to convert its shop from a solventborne system to the R-M Onyx HD® waterborne refinish system by BASF – The Chemical Company. R-M’s Onyx HD® waterborne paint system not only helps protect the environment, but also combines ease of use and durability with superb color matching.  Crestmont‘s goal is to protect the region’s air, water, and soil by reducing hazardous waste and air pollution. “A more environmentally friendly repair or collision center today, a greener tomorrow,” says President Alex Park.

   Important Points to Remember

1. Your insurance company wants your vehicle accurately repaired and they want you to be completely satisfied.
2. You may select the collision repair facility of your choice to perform the repairs. Your insurance company’s representative must be allowed a reasonable amount of time to inspect the damage prior to the repairs.
3. Only you, the owner, can authorize repairs on your vehicle.
4. You are not required by law to obtain more than one estimate.
5. Collision repair estimates will often vary and may not reflect the final cost of vehicle restoration. In many cases, additional damage is discovered on further inspection. Your repair facility will deal directly with your insurance company to review any additional repairs.
